@mewzekman By trying to hit the tee you inadvertently change your swing slightly and come more down on the ball because you're so focused on carry the club through the ground.

For all you young posters that say that your friends make fun of you for playing golf, just remember that one of the main social events for the business / medical / government world is golf. Connections can be developed in the professional world on the links and doors will open because of those connections. Who's going to be laughing when you have a better job years down the line?
