  • @christy2drag That's selectable

  • Yeah, i recently found that option and changed it.

  • Yeah, it is preconfigured in that way. You can change the behavior in the text editor preferences.

However, when using TABs, the vertical text selection doesn't work. So I can't use the vertical text selection because using TABs is more important to me.

  • QT Creator is great, the only thing i hate about it is that it generates spaces instead of a /t when i press the TAB key.

  • very cool

  • Cursor keys are great!

  • Ok, found how to remap ctrl+space. The filter function of the key list can filter for keys and not only for names. Which is very nice :) Especially when you realize that you can't type a " because there is a shortcut that reacts on AltGR+F making it impossible to type a "-character on the Svorak A5 keyboard layout. Using the filter one can fast eliminate those shortcuts.

I also notice that standard shortcuts like ctrl+[ don't work if [ is typed using AltGR key.

  • Trying out your IDE, looks nice but,

I have enabled vi-style editing in the tools->options dialog, but I still cant do vi-style editing. I first though i was simply in insert-mode by default but pressing escape don't bring me out to normal mode.

Also I can't find in tools how to change so I bring up the auto completion with ctrl+N instead of ctrl+space. On a Kinesis Contoured with the left ctrl mapped as the windows key, pressing ctrl+space is quite awkward using the right ctrl-key.
