Select the tire based on your vehicle competition. Baja, ASABE Tractor, FSAE, Formula, Solar, Aero, Hybrid, Supermilage all use different types of tires. Tips on assembling components of a wheel and tire. Understand other mating components to the wheel such as the hub or spindle. To avoid problems, align sets of holes. Use a section view to select complicated or hidden geometry.

  • Good video but you can tell the narration was strung together from multiple readings and done very poorly. The reader needs to know the flow of the entire conversation not just snippets.

  • Oh, he means the rim inner section. It is in fact backwards, as can be seen it the powerpoint slides and conventional design. Unless, of course, you meant to assemble it as a reverse offset rim. The chamfers on the lugnut holes are on the nut side.
