Bush called for pre-1967 Israeli borders

The Right widely criticized President Obama for suggesting Israel return to its pre-1967 borders in seeking peace with Israel. But Obama is not the first president to suggest Israel return to its pre-1967 border. In his final year, President George W. Bush suggested IN ISRAEL that they consider returning... not just their pre-1967 borders, but the original *1949* borders. (Edit: I previously had "pre" 1949, but Israel was founded in 1949, so there were no "pre-49" borders.)

Idiots. Bush is not calling for a return to the 1948 or 1967 "borders" -- he explicitly states that any agreement between the parties will require adjustments to the 1949 armistice line (what the Palestinians are now claiming is a "border" despite an armistice agreement which explicitly--at Arab request--said was "NOT a border") to reflect current realities on the ground. He never used the word "border" at all -- Obama said "border" thus automatically setting that as a precondition. You're deaf?

You missed the point of the video. This video was posted in response to Right Wing criticism of President Obama saying almost the EXACT same thing as President Bush did, suggesting using the 1948 Armistice lines as the starting basis for any negotiation. When Obama suggested this, he was accused of throwing Israel under the bus. But when Bush did it... no comment.

Actually, you should have written "Bush was as despicable as Obama", since I uploaded this video after the Right when apes#!t because President Obama suggested including the "pre-67 borders" as a starting point in any negotiations. But when this video demonstrated Bush called for the same thing (only worse), suddenly, Prez Obama's proposal wasn't so deplorable. Funny how that works.
