Ufc 129 had so much hype behind it , so much publicity , came out with great co. main events Aldo vs Hominick , vs Machida vs Couture. Its so unfortunate that the Main event was a huge disappointment.

I believe the reason GSP's fight have gone the distance is that he has so much to lose and it just stacks up in every fight. He has so much hype (deserved) around him and he has kept the belt for a long time so it just gets scarier and scarier to lose it. His opponents thou have absolutely nothing to lose. If they lose the fight they can say "well i lost to GSP, one of the best welterweights ever".

GSP's trainer said "Our plan was to stay as far away from Shields as possible to avoid the take down." Staying off the ground with Shields is a good idea, but GSP looked like he was afraid to engage with Shields as Jake began to wave him in and he moved further away.
