The Moon through a 14" Celestron telescope taken with the Pentax k-x. The original resolution video is 1280 x 720 pixels, amazing on a HD TV.

  • How long did this take to record?

  • @nonchalantgamer

The video is in real time. I've been slowly moving the telescope that is why the Moon moves.

  • Beautiful images! Is this taken with DSLR behind the telescope eyepiece (afocal), or instead of the eyepiece (prime focus)?

  • @Marmots4reFun

It's without the eyepiece. The focal length is 3910mm on a APS-C sensor.

  • Hello. How tdo you attach the camera to the telescope?

  • @videowatcher68

I have a T adapter for my camera and put the camera directly in the star diagonal of the telescope without any lenses or eyepieces.
