Well its the same as if any other talented musician left the band. It changes the entire sound. Is that their right? yes. However saying you arent a "nightwish" fan if you dont like the new drummer/guitarist/vocalist is a bit short-sighted. Many bands lose fans just from changing guitarists or bassists. You change the vocalist or "front man" you are going to lose even more because of how drastically it changes the sound of the music. Nightwish has gone more Power Metal,whereas they were symphony

I wont leave nightwish...but anette hasn't a good intonation...eva is perfect...all dark passion play is perfect too...but not in live...
This band is even better! Anette is really good. The ones who don't like NW because Tarja was kicked out then they are Tarja's fans, not NW's fans so go and buy her CD... Leave NW alone, they are the best!

No, there is more symphony in DPP than on any other album that Nightwish hasever made before. People listen to the singer, and not the music. And the music has not changed.
