well he probably hadn't been singing long here, his technique has gotten alot better, like for instance if you listen to the vocal runs he can do now, like during it's all tears at pukkelpop that - he was doing some wicked stuff there, or on Venus Doom the vocal runs at the end of like Dead Lover's Lane and Bleed Well, he's definitely got better in order to do that sort of stuff

I can tell that his voice has more "depth", if you could call it that...

it's weird that something so bad for your health could make someone sound so good.

i'm not saying that he sounds bad here (i think he sounds good!) but he always gets better. :)
