  • Hey italo, nice vid.. can u help me to set up a float without mast? so far this is my building:

Weight + snap swivel + 30cm lead and hook

please explain me how to do it!

  • @chvg93 Thank you. You have a few choices, you can use a "slip-float", where the line goes through the float and you use a "bobber-stop" to set our depth, or you can use the "spring-set" float where there is a spring that is depressed to let your line go in the groove and than the spring is released to set the depth. Both of these will work well. The slip-bobber will work best if you are planning to fish the float-rig in deeper water...God bless you, Italo

  • @MunicipalMeep I know exactly what you mean...God bless you, Italo

  • @eryman17 when the water is clear, i can see the fish run off with the bait/hook in their mouthes. letting it freely slip provides less resistance so the fish don't know until you set the hook or if they let go. it works so much better when the fish are heavily fished like where i live because they're so used to set bobbers that they let go the second they feel resistance.

  • @eryman17 Not too much, I have to sleep every once and a while...God bless you, Italo

  • @MunicipalMeep you dont fish much do ya?

  • i prefer without mast, and i dont use bobber stops because the fish feel less resistence but i can see when they grab it i know when to set the hook
