All credit for this tutorial goes to R234. Without his precise instructions I would not have had any idea that this type of animation was possible. This is the first time I've tried this technique and I must say I am impressed.

ANYWAY, this tutorial covers importing an animation from a character that is completely outside the TF2 realm and giving it to the Scout (not the soldier, the Scout!!)...

The animation sequence chosen for this tutorial is the walk cycle of the Combine Soldier from Half-Life 2. (Trying to kill 2 birds with one stone, so to speak, as "How do I create a walk cycle is another popular question of late in the discussion group.)

Hope you find this informative and useful.
