    Atlas Shrugged is a novel by Ayn Rand, first published in 1957 in the United States. Rand was one of Phillippe de Rothschild's mistresses (at that time, the leader of the Illuminati). If you want to understand this book, listen what John Todd has to say about it:

    Well it did get a 5% from critics on rotten tomatoes, and a 0% from top critics. And it isnt the politcal leanings of them, these are the same people who gave "Birth of a Nation" a 100% based on the actual film itself instead of the message. Yea, bad movie all around
