This is horrible to watch. This young lady thinks this thing is more efficient than a storage heater. Guess what, it is a storage heater but in a different shape! All electric heaters are 100% efficient so how can this thing be 'more efficient'? You basically fell for a scam and have wasted hundreds of pounds on an overpriced storage heater. If you'd put the money towards gas central hearing your pocket and the environment would have been better off.

It's not true that electric storage heaters are inefficient. They might be seen as horrible, as they're huge and heavy, but I wouldn't call them inefficient.

They use energy to heat up and then store the heat inside. They release the heat to the room all the time and heat up only when you turn them on. They are a great way to use cheap electricity during night to heat your home during the day. New storage heaters have fans to speed up the discharge of heat to the room and save even more...

Great video and good afford. Everyone is using word efficiency wthout knowing what it means. All electric heaters are 100% efficient which means that they convert to heat all energy taken from electric socket .The problem with elecricity is that for every unit generated at the power station you will only recieve half af it. The rest is wasted in wires from your home to power station.Coal need to be digged and transported by havy machinery that use tonnes diesel fuel so overal efficiency is 20%

why the heck do u think people throwed their electric devices out and got themselves gas again?

chemical reactions can produce heat, but if high voltage is needed I doubt inside here... and can't think of any that works for many hours, reproduce-able.

So maybe a better version of old big radiator blocks with bricks inside to hold temperature...

so lets see,,,, you use the power generated by a coal powerstation to use your "wank, wank, eco friendly heater", WAKE UP. More and more people are starting to see how much of a load of shit all this global warming really is,. Just if you haven't,,, It's nothing more than a great big tax grab from every government in the world today!
