Washington Cop Beats 17 Yr-Old Jaywalker

Videotaped on June 14, 2010 in Seattle, Washington, after officer Ian Walsh attempts to detain a female suspect for the crime of jaywalking. As the young woman, Marilyn Levias , age 19, works with a friend, Angel Rosenthal, age 17, to physically resist the officer's attempts to detain her, the officer punches the 17-yr-old in the face after she pushes him. After this, the officer continues to struggle to place the 19-yr-old's arms behind her back before finally utilizing his handcuffs, almost two and a half minutes after the video has begun.
