@22572008 the reason why people say that is because china IS backing north korea in more areas than one. It's no secret. Even China's response to kim jong il's death was fishy. North Korea's closest ally is China. And your "6 areas" is seriously outdated. japan and s. korea don't really have the military might nor political clout. Russia's also not what it used to be. Nowadays the biggest political players are the US, China and N Korea.
