So here is my new 22.5 Weber Smokey Mountain. This smoker is awesome. Great size and maintains temperature really well.

I'll of course be posting additional videos of using the smoker, but here is my initial smoke on it.

All the great reviews on this smoker seem to be correct. Weber has an awesome product.

  • How easy is it to do a long smoke 8-12 hrs? Looks like a nice smoker, may have to look into it more! Thanks for sharing!

  • @40sigsauer Very easy. It takes a few times to understand how the vents work, but once you do it is easy.

  • Did you drill a hole in the side for the digital thermometer?

  • @Immaculate416 No I installed grommets you can buy online.

  • I have the smaller one, and love it. I am a novice, and it makes me look like a pro

  • @ktrain420247 So very true. I'm still a novice in my mind and this thing has been chugging along with no problems. Granted I won't know how well it works in cold weather for 8 more months, but even then I heard it does well.

  • Works very well without water in the pan. Especially for those short 2 to 4 hour smokes for things like chicken. I wrap my water pan in foil for easy clean up. WSM is awesome. Add a BBQ Guru temperature control system and it's a smokin' beast:)

    Thanks for the video.

  • Yeah, I didn't even see you cook on the Pro Q! I guess you didn't like that one...lol

  • when you opened that lid and i saw that chicken, Hmmmmm. great videos

  • I have the Brinkmann 852-7080-V Gourmet Charcoal Smoker and Smokenator 1000 & Hovergrill Kit on my 22.5 kettle set up. Considered this smoker once moved. I'll have to give it a go, thanxs

  • I had an old Electric Smoker and the heating element busted, so I've been looking for a new one and think I might try this one out.

Smoking meat has to rank as one of the best smells around!

  • nice
