  • Nice, Simple. I thought it would be much harder that this. Basic stuff with a great groove. "Monkey and a Roast Beef Sandwich" is gonna cover this one monkey style more chunk. Thanx so much for letting me steal your licks on this one.

  • @MrTonkabear Robert Plant has a habit of referring to this song as reggae. I cringe every time I hear him say that, because this is one awfully awkward attempt at reggae by a heavy band.

  • what distortion are you using for this song? Ive been trying to find a pedal that sounds the same but i cant find any.

  • @bringbacktherock1 No distortion pedal, just straight into the amp. But maybe a Tube Screamer would get close to the tone you're looking for.

  • Dude you rock thanks for the tutorial . Peace !

  • @privettricker

That may be true, but it is still one very sickass song. I can see why Plant refers to this song as reggae too. When I first heard D'yer Mak'er, I automatically thought "wow, that sounds a hell of alot like some jamaican reggae genre."

  • every video you upload is perfect. you have helped me so much in my studies-thank you man

  • @privettricker It's not reggae but it defiantly has a reggae.... "vibe" for lack of a better word.
