The London Riots - Nick Riley

Please Read Below.

A quick song I wrote about the riots.
It's not perfect by any means but I got blisters on my fingers so stuck with this recording.
Lyrically it's not perfect either but as I say, I wrote it quickly. I could've written a whole load more verses about all the places affected except by now that's so many places it would've been more like a musical than a song!

I'm not in any way in favour of the riots, I think those involved are disgraces to our nationality and whilst I don't live close enough to one of the places where stuff's going down to help clean up I figured I could just write a song that highlighted my contempt and disgust in the people out there now rioting.

@TANKDUBSTEP thanks for your input mate, you'll notice i haven't once claimed that this song is either amazing or deep - in fact i'm pretty sure i've said that it's far from perfect. You'll also notice that firstly Alex Turner is in a band (and his solo stuff sounds fuck all like my music) and secondly that we're from almost exactly the same part of the country so similarities would naturally occur. good singing voice and good song but song of the lyrics were just awful you sing about them being pricks and stuff and then say there from broken home making out its not there fault and then your ashamed of who you are unless you went out and took part in the riot you have no need to feel ashamed however if its because your a youth and it was the youth rioting then you should of added it to the song
