Glory Cloud at Bethel 10-14-11 Redding, Ca.

I, (Terry Potter) took this video the last Night of the Open Heaven's Conference with Bill Johnson, John and Carol Arnott. This was at about 11:45 pm after the majority of people went home. It lasted a half an hour or more. Glory was in the right hand corner of the sanctuary. This was the location people came forward during the meeting earlier in the night who received Gold teeth! Wowza!!!! GOD is so FUN! LOOK AT HE RIGHT UPPER HAND CORNER, THE LIGHT SHINING ON THE GLORY SHOWS IT REALLY, REALLY GOOD.

Here's my problem: My problem is not if it's false, but if it's true. I mean...Since when has God been in the business of providing slightly tacky 1970s glitter dust at a gig? Ya know..I'd kinda prefer him to send some Manna down on the starving of africa..or perhaps empty out a few cancer wards...but no...we get glitter dust at a worship service. Hmm. Please don't let this be true, because it's a much smaller view of God showing up in power than I had in mind.

As an audio-visual technician for 4 or so years, I generally get this effect a lot when I unfurl one of the large screens and some dust settles over a few days on areas of ground I'm not currently covering. Then along comes everyone and their dog - while stirring up the dust, directly into a pin-spot light or ParCan. Nothing particularly special.

However @TerrysonFire, if this event has in some way moved you to become a kinder, more tolerant person, does it really matter from whence it came?

Hey Terry ur in good company: they persecuted prophets (still do..) and they crucified Jesus: even when he healed a man with a withered hand, they plotted to kill him. they thot they did.

Gods God: Jesus is alive & well. He can do whatever He wants. Pride and doubt land folks in the wrong place.

Theatrical lighting and a black painted ceiling really help in creating this effect and pulling it off. Especially when they have been hyped up through false teachings, hypnotic trans like music, (done in the name of worship, when analyzing the lyrics they are Man centered not God) expecting something to happen. Then Somebody turns on a glitter blower.

Hypnosis is "a trance state characterized by extreme suggestibility, relaxation and heightened imagination."

That is precisely what I said when I saw this. What did God say to Moses again? Oh right, Moses said "Now show me your glory." And God said "you cannot see my face, for no one may see me and live." From what I read in Scripture (you know, that book that regulates our faith) if these people did see God's glory as they did in 2 Chronicles (you know where God dwells in a dark cloud) they would understand their debasement.
