This is NOT time-lapse photography - it is in REAL TIME.

This is a clip I filmed with my iPhone 4 of what we have called a Mountain Dandelion. (Oenothera Flava) . It's actually in the Primrose family. They are not common to in the eastern united states but we've had them in Ohio for over 40 years.

These amazing flowers open at dusk in front of your eyes, remain open all night and die off at sunrise.

I hope to cultivate the seeds and sell them if anyone is interested. they are a great evening conversation item with the neighborhood.
