  • Such a shame they dont want to write musci together anymore! I guess thats cos Daniel just doesnt like rock much nowdays and Ben is still into writing heavier music. Shame.....

  • @H7XLP That's what I figured too. Ben was always into returning to their earlier sound, while Daniel wanted to go in the direction we all now know.

  • everyone here is wrong, defently they won't release a new album with grunge songs, but, i'm sure that anyone who likes this band and went to a concert from 2005 to 2008, would want to here songs like tomorrow or pure massacare, or slave and stuff, we want them to play their old songs, not to compose new grunge songs, JUST TO PLAY THEY OLD GRUNGE SONGS I'M SURE PEOPLE HERE AGREE WITH ME.

  • Their old songs from Frogstomp were great! That's the album and sound that got me so thoroughly hooked. The new stuff is okay, but is very different to their early work. I never compared them to Nirvana, but loved the level of anger and hatred in their songs considering how young they were.

I would hope if I saw them now, that they would still play some of these older songs.

  • I heard that they won't do this song live anymore? That really sux because I luv this song

  • Yeah. I saw them in 1999 for Neon Ballroom tour, and I remember audience calling for Tomorrow, but Daniel said 'No, its just a stupid song about a leaky tap' (or something like that).

  • listen people although the new silverchair stuff is extremely gay i dont hate them for hopping on the bandwagon of new really shitty music.this is a great song i remember it before it even went mainstream when they kids and i love the grunge era of the 90's so even tho their new shit sucks and is borderline gay this will always be a kick ass song and i will remember silverchair as a kick ass band from the 90's so lets end all this hate for them turning gay lets just not listen to the new shit!!

  • @PlanetWrok So true. Frogstomp was the beast.

  • Paul Mack ruined him sooooo bad. I was a bit late listening to them, but it never cease to amaze me how strong their performance were. And I'm a bit sad by the fact that they took that kind of turn for their music. But I also agree with @outofwhack90 's comment.

  • @outofwhack90 wow, they don't just use the same 3 power chords over and over again, how gay of them.

  • "Don't call me a Lesbian"

  • We should respect the band for not wanting to play tomorrow. When Daniel wrote the music for neon ballroom he purposfully steered away from the grunge thing, which means they were a different band now and they don't have any connection with the song tomorrow anymore. And since all the pain and ridicule they went through at such a young age being called pearljam and grunge wannabees I think the band just wanted to escape that title and become their own band.

  • grunge = true music......rap/pop = bullshit

  • as a performer, the songs i wrote only a few years ago seem beneath me and really quite silly. i understand daniel's frustration with this song, every gig he played between 94 and 99, when they stopped playing this tune, all he'd get is the "old school" fans who didnt like neon ballroom asking for this song. then imagine bringing out two albums back to back, two of the best ever in diorama and neon ballroom. and being asked to play this. try and relate, i think it's quite easy really.

  • Well said!!
