This is a wonderful idea! Thank you! When I try it, I'll use mini clothes pegs to hold the strips in place, I think it might be a bit easier than trying to slide on paperclips.

I used hot glue, pre-rounded each of the strips, and did the four "loops" on each half before sticking the two sides together. Made a simple project even easier!
