In April 1992, Mas Air started operations in the international air cargo industry. From the very beginning, the company noticed the customer and market needs and the quality and scope of the services required. This approach led our company to obtain the leadership in the international Mexican cargo industry. Later on, the attitude to quality and excellency was reinforced by the ISO9001: 2000 certification. For a decade, the strategy followed by Mas Air permitted a constant development of the services, products and the expansion of the worldwide network.
Mas Air offers direct flights to the main cities in South, Central and North America. From some gateways like Los Angeles, Miami, and New York we connect the freight to international main destinations.

  • You are obviously not a pilot. Pilots make the ultimate go no go decision, the reason is for (say it with me) SAFETY. Weight and balance is extremely important, i have been abored many flights delayed due to improper cargo loading, because it was either to aft or forward of the C of G. From day one when a pilot trains on even a 172 after the a/c has been fueled by the attendant, we visually check the fuel, POH and checklists are made for this very reason. Now go do your research.

  • there is nothing wrong with the copilot occasionally monitoring the loading of his aircraft. This IS common practice. You guys have no idea what you are talking about.

Buen video.

  • Nice video of a B767.

  • and 767s are extremely sensitive on cargo-weight ahead of the wing....I would much rather have a too cautious pilot/co-pilot rechecking his balance sheet....and either rearranging or booting freight or passengers for the sake of safety.

  • @trooper744 That is correct. You would be surprised at a lot of people don't know about what you've mentioned. Believe me when I say this. I've been on many USAF cargo aircraft flights (C-5, C-17, C-141, etc) to where the Weight and Balance was a little off. No worries on that as long as the maximum gross take-off weight isn't exceeded. If anything, planes can and always be trimmed for straight and level flight as well as having the flight augmentation working properly.

  • Just look around YouTube. You will see many videos of aircraft with improper loading, W+B so out of kilter the planes crash on takeoff.
