My son and I went kayaking on the Vermillion River, Ontario, Canada. We started at Onwatin in Hanmer and ended at the bridge off a Desmerais. It's 4.5 Kms straight line, but with all the bends in the river, it's almost 11kms long. Done on May 8, 2009. No bugs and the weather was beautiful. It's almost a 2 hr ride.

  • No rapids, some faster water and some shallow parts, but a beautiful ride. The currents help you along most of the way. Want to do it one more time before winter, just waiting for a nice weekend.

  • are theyre any rapids
