The real name of this song is "Polovetsian dances", composed originally by Alexander Borodin, for his opera "Prince Igor".The producers of the musical "Kismet" just stolen it from him, you can see it by searching "Polovetsian dances" in youtube.

Beautiful artwork. Who is the singer? He has a wonderful voice. One of my favorite alltime songs.

It's from the soundtrack to "Kismet". Unfortunately there appear to be about a million version of Kismet on IMDB so I'm not entirely sure which one I got it from!
Checking Amazon... There's the broadway cast of the 1953 musical that sounds pretty close. Vic Damone on the MGM Movie version sounds closer. I think is who it was.
