@TDiGP The F1 of 2005 had about 800-900 BHP, not a 1000. Yes, the cars could do 0-100 km/h in 1.5 seconds but definitely go to 370 km/h easily at Monza. Formula cars are not geared for high speeds like that. They were geared max for 340-350 km/h.

The thing that amazes me in all these videos is how slowly the high-end production car gains on the first car out.

@strange6 are you high, drunk, or mentally ill?! a fast production car will NEVER beat a F1 race car. not even the bugatti. sure, their top speed is almost the same, and if you placed them both doing 195mph right next to each other, the veyron go ahead eventually, but from a start? you have to be kidding yourself. it weighs less. theres a video from the 90s where a F1 car and a lambo diablo do a drag race. guess who won, the Formula One Car thats who! by like a hundred feet! go ahead look it up.

@naval8viator You're the idiot after writing that bunch of crap. For one thing, I would like to know where you get those precise figures from? With the banning of traction control now, an f1 car's 0-60 is much greater than 1.7 seconds. I would say it's a whole second slower than that. I bet you the Veyron could beat an F1 car from standstill up to about 150 mph on a straight piece of road.
