TeleDroid®: An Apps4Android's Accessible Health Monitoring Application

TeleDroid®: Apps4Android's accessible heaalth monitoring application, was designed in support of the Patient Centered Medical Home (PCMH). PCMH is an approach to providing comprehensive primary care for children, youth and adults. The PCMH is a health care setting that facilitates partnerships between individual patients, and their personal physicians, and when appropriate, the patient's family.

TeleDroid® was designed to enable organizations such as community centers, churches, assisted living centers, health clubs and the like to offer private and secure health monitoring services to their employees, residents and members.

TeleDroid® can use any Android device to capture personal health data and upload it to Personal Health and Electronic Medical Records (EMR). Teledroid® is fully-compatible with Google Health®.

Being able to provide a rich, easily accessible, online history of vital sign data, eating and exercise habits, and other health-related information to physicians, when they are paid a visit, can be very beneficial from both a diagnostic and treatment standpoint.
