Very, very nice technique.
My favorite part is when you say "Oh, shit."

that's the most fucking obnoxious music in earth's history, how you can lift weights to that shit is beyond me

Great Technique
-
if youre feet bang loud on the floor like that during your lift it means they are leaving the ground, for the split second youre in mid air like that youre not generating any power
-
how many pounds is that?
-
-The part where you get the bar to your chest is the clean and the part where you get the bar overhead is the jerk
-For the jerk you are supposed to bend your legs, thats where most of the explosive power comes from. You dont bend your legs for the press, which is no longer part of weightlifting competitions
-
ok question: im trying to learn this. What part is the clean and which is the jerk? and when you bring the bar to your neckline and are about to push it overhead, i thought you weren't supposed to bend your legs? maybe thats just for competition?

just a question, why do would you squat clean?( im a new at this just been clean and jerk for bout a month), does it really help?

the vid is actually a squat clean or a traditional clean from the floor. I think what you are referring to is the power clean, which means you don't drop into a deep squat on the catch. The squat clean becomes importan when you begin to train with bigs weights - it helps aid in the recovery phase of the lift.

Cool. How long do you rest inbetween sets? and how many sets do you do? I'm a rookie still.

sets, rest and tempo varies... it usually depends on what phase of training you are currently in. to give a complete answer could be a complete article of its own.
to answer - sets and reps are usually dictated by the loads you are lifting. A good rule of thumb for rest is basically the heavier the load the lnoger the rest
