GTA Tutorial Video 02 Modding A Car

1st off,
i sound like a nob on this video PMSL

anyways this was made back in 2004
i thought now i had DIRECTOR status on youtube that it would take the 22min video and it wont SO BAH.......

ive cut it into 3 videos, its a prity cool tutorial for noobies to GTA,
was made as part of the Vice City Interactive Modders DVD
(wich ive not released)
although a smaller "CD" version was released in 2002

the video shows the manual instalation of a Car, while its rebuilding the IMG i also made a few textures for the same car model

people can slam this all they want :p
but for noobs, this video kicks ass....
that was the Idea of the DVD to bust open gta for NEW people to learn how to, you can actualy download the CAR and the textures

im already notified of down'd links and dont need 100's more emails and messages, be paitent im more into OFP (Operation Flashpoint) these days, but i might make more gta tutorials in the future, doubt il talk on them though, i was more noobish in 2004, i doubt il use my voice again

Final NOTE:
this video is for Vice city but its prity much the same to install a car mod into GTA:III and GTA san andreas
and YES "IMG Tool" takes ages on win98 when your capturing your desk to as an AVI to the same drive the img is on LOL

hey man your confusing me and i got no idea now i watched video one about saving the handling.cfg or whatever and it wouldnt let me save it im using vista if anyone can help me please do!!!! im trying to just get car mods onto Grand Theft Auto San Andreas

did you remove the "windows Read Only" propertys from all the gta files ?

u need gta sa version 1.0 to mod things in gta sa just download gta sa downgrade patch google is your freind

yip, downgrader will help if he has newer version, but vista wont let him save the file in the folder, i recently had same problem setting up vice city for a mate

i had to copy the handling to the desk top & save it their, then copy & paste it back to the gta folder & it worked fine :)

Where do you get the mouse cursors when you click and it makes it ripple red? its annoying

yip, photoshop is way better than paint shop pro, but the psp is easier to get your head around (and its cheeper, for them that buy their apps) lol

i still using paint shop pro 7.04

(for some jobs even today, mainly clone'ing)

but i do use photoshop a lot more these days, its only photoshop v7 though, but it does for my usual psd work
