morphic.js is a Squeak-like programming environment and GUI framework that runs in web browsers and uses just Canvas and JavaScript. Objects can be manipulated directly or using inspector windows. This video demonstrates using an inspector to manipulate a turtle pen.

Written by Jens Mönig, Morphic.js is intended to be the next platform for BYOB4 aka SNAP http://byob.berkeley.edu. Check out the prototype and the ongoing development at: http://www.chirp.scratchr.org/blog/?p=34

  • Hi!

    I'm quite amazed.

I tried to serialize the whole world together with it's submorphs to a JSON, but all I get is an "uncaugh TypeError: Convering circular structure to JSON". Can this be changed?

    Regards...

  • Looks interesting, but I am still drawn to BYOB much more strongly.
