I honestly don't understand why everyone is getting so up in arms about the i8 being an electric hybrid. I fully agree that hydrogen fuel cells are the ultimate answer to meeting emissions regulations, but we currently don't have the availability or infrastructure to support fleets of hydrogen-powered cars. Until then, the i8 demonstrates that energy efficiency can equate to a sleek, futuristic supercar instead of just another banana-shaped Prius.
@sid203 20 miles, because it's not a dedicated electric vehicle. It's a hybrid in the strictest sense of the term, but leaning much more towards the electric side than previous hybrids.
