@jimmynitcher its cause this vid was in 2007, ableton has changed since then..
-
thank you so much for being willing to help others follow in your footsteps!
-
@shane69999 You need to go to prefferances, inside live, ( in one of the options menus up the top) and then you need to go to audio, and select the output audio device you want.

;part3?!?!!?!?

@marky141 LOL I was about to write the same thing

...my god. I was just sitting there watching the video until he mentioned the keymapping to the number keys, then i spent another 15 minutes in lala land just playing with that. I've already learned more just watching these videos then the inprogram tutorials do. @jimmynitcher it's there, the All This Time pack in the free section.

TY for Free Live Pack makes it easier to learn the program and structure for me
-
Great tute but where is this Live Pack ? I've DL'd all the free ones and none look like this
-
Shane - Move past that screen, or select "OK", if available.
Whats the machine you are running?
I had the same sort of problem when I tried to run Ableton Live 8 on my iBook.. the thing was old and the processor was slow. Once I got my new MacBook, everything fell intlo place.
Keep working at it.
Tom, I'll be getting one of these on DVD soon.. you seem to have the easiest learning method I've found so far.
Thanks
