Sept. 20 1998 - The Day That Changed Malaysia

On Sept 20, 1998, Anwar Ibrahim with thousands of people gathered at the Masjid Negara & Dataran Merdeka called for the resignation of the Prime Minister, Dr Mahathir Mohamad. Later in the evening, 500 police officers, wearing helmets and armed with assault rifles, arrested Anwar Ibrahim after a raid on his home in Kuala Lumpur.

@devinseed i think at that time..if rakyat can do something a big2 demo in every town in entire malaysia.. i think mahathir will lingkup.. nowadays to do some big rally is so difficult since fru got the equipment to disperse the demonstrator .;learn from 1998
