Footage of the various Canadian D-Day beaches that made up Juno Beach in 1944, as shot in 2006. Shot in Courseulles-sur-mer, Bernieres-sur-mer, St. Aubin-sur-mer, and Graye-sur-mer in Normandy, France. Originally shot in HD.

  • Excellent video of a truely amazing feat of mass bravery and heroism- may I ask what you used to edit and upload such a great video?

  • It was shot on HDV with a Sony FX1 and edited on a Final Cut Pro HD editing suite.

    Well said. Those guys can play volleyball in freedom because so many young men from Canada and other countries sacrificed their lives in 1944. Always remember them.
