This is amazing! Magnificent locos. The Magnificent Seven music is just the correct tone for this film! I'm pretty amazed by this. Nice work.
Best Regards Ryan aka GreatWestern175 from the UK.

Looks great. Jesse James would have a field day.

Beautiful engines! They're almost as big as the ones at Sonoma Train Town Railroad! 1:36 (gasp) They have dining cars too?! This is just like at those large railroads!

Please, I'm trying to find coupler height standards for 2.5" scale/7.5" gauge. I know many use IBLS wheel standards, but what about the couplers? Rail height to coupler centre would be very useful. Are there 'Standards' posted somewhere?
Thank you,
Zoë

middle of the coupler pocket is 4 5/16" to top-of-rail while the car (or locomotive) is loaded.Typically, loaded cars from unloaded cars move 1/8" if they are sprung properly. Which means for cars carrying passengers or ballast, make the coupler centerline 4 7/16". Don't have any other info myself.

If i were rich this is a hobby I'd enjoy. It is fascinating to watch these run. I guess i have to settle for my Lionel trains during rhe holiday season. Even they are now very expensive too however!

You actually can be penniless and enjoy this hobby if there is a club nearby. If you join and get involved with the club, come out and do some trackwork and generally make yourself useful, it won't be long before someone is showing you the ropes a club steam engine. :)

The locomotive at 1:40 is an Allen Models Chloe. You can buy the Castings and plans from Gene Allen, or there is one currently for sale ready to run on the Discover Live Steam website's forsale pages.
