  • faith...is much like trust...once needed in war and hard times but now needed for all times, our own journey is lying in wait for us to be ready whether it's physically or mentally. Faith helps us strive for what we truly want..what we most desire and we'll learn things about us that we never knew before for it is never too late to start...

  • So beautiful.

    Thank you so much. =)

  • @TheShadowknight1337 Probably should have left the "delusional cult" part out. Whoops.

  • people, faith isn't blindly pledging your allegiance to some delusional cult, it's about sticking with what you believe in, even when nobody else does. Having faith is believing in what you think is right. That can be believing in some religion, or believing in another person.

Now, let's get back to enjoying an awesome song, shall we?

  • i love this song *_* omg! wath fucking great ist it ?! :D

  • Hold on...

  • jesus christ..................

  • @chaosbringer127 Of course there's nothing wrong with believing in what you want; I never even said there was. It's not like I'm directly bashing religion and those who follow it. I'm stating my opinion of the idea of faith, which may or may not require belief in a "higher reality". You can have faith in the government and you can have faith in god; it isn't exclusive either way.

  • @UntoTheBreach24

most people on earth aren't atheists and do believe in God. Most people cannot live without having an absolute source of good and order.Nothing wrong with it.

  • @JulioMarco Well, since I'm an atheist, I don't believe in a sort of higher reality; actually, I believe that drawing strength from such a source is akin to lying to yourself for reassurance. Approaching a situation with a rational mind will see you through the same situations with less undue confidence.

Also, I think accepting how fragile we really are instead of trying to think otherwise puts life in an enlightening perspective. After all, reality is certain.

  • @UntoTheBreach24 On the contrary! Faith gives you focus.

if you believe in a higher reality, if you believe you are more than just flesh and bone, than your mind allows you to draw from a reserve of strength you would otherwise not have access to.

If you believe yourself to be only matter, than a simple virus can kill you and it is a source of despair. Faith gives you a calm mind that helps fight the worst adversities and remain in control of yourself even if you loose.

  • Faith is a distraction...but I like the song.
