  • I am glad to see that you have gone to such effort to edit and translate this video, but I think it is not polite to correct Yamashita-Sensei`s english with emphasizing his grammatical errors. You should feel privileged that Sensei-Yamashita uses your language.

    Sensei-Yamashita is truly an inspiration to watch and I am grateful for your contribution. If Sensei-Yamashita has declared it to be ok for you to post this video to YouTube, I am glad that you did.

    Thanks for your comment. It's interesting to hear that it seems impolite to correct Yamashita Sensei's English. No disrepect is intended, of course, and I'm certainly not trying to emphasize any lack of facility with English. The captions are simply intended to clarify. In fact, if I transcribed his words exactly, it would emphasize the broken quality of his English, and risk sounding like a parody.

  • @kensei1984 Yeah i go to L.A Tenri and they teach us 3 variations one with chest contact, the other by pulling uke to one side and the Chin Up.
