This is a story of Immigration, prejudice and discrimination, government surveillance and a war on terror, as the rich get richer and the poor get poorer. Sound familiar? Except this one happened 75 years ago.

  • Except the accent is all wrong. This blokes a pom, Bridges spoke in a broad old fashioned Australian drawl.

  • Congratulations ! I see your play will be broadcast on PBS.

  • I own this program-story-act on dvd. This actor did a brilliant job of portraying Harry ! ! ! Terrific program to watch and learn from while being entertained as well ! ! !

  • I'll never get over the time that Harry Bridges walked right into Malm Luggage Repair in SF, where I was the manager, and one of my employees had NO IDEA WHO THIS GUY WAS! He was too young to know! But, I knew who he was and that was quite a day for me, let me tell you!

This actor has really captured the man!

    Great stuff!

  • I have an old May 9th ed of LOOK MAGAZINE which has a feature on Harry Bridges in it. Appears he was living in Hawaii then.

  • Thank you, what a treat.

  • Great story. Nice combination of songs, photos and live stage action.

  • Great!

Makes me feel like I'm there...and in a way we are...
