Albert King =Legend, Gary Moore = Legend. This video = 2 Legends playing blues their own normal ways, its not a competition. They are playing in A Blues on the fretboard, but must have detuned a semitone so what you hear is Ab Blues. Singing range decreases with age so detuning helps the singer.

This is tremendous. The only sad part was how much trouble Albert had in getting the rhythm section and bass to "bring it down". He finally had to turn and yell at them before they got the message. Not much blues sensitivity on their part.

i think it was a show of respect for Albert king and the song for Gary not to compromise his style, and didn't Albert take Gary "under his wing" for a while??

What an awesome duet!!! I have read that some of you thinks that Garry Moore didn't respect in this performance Albert King, which i think is not quite right. This is a duet right, and there must be someone that play lyric part an other that should play more aggressive parts [more solo]. In this video you could hear the lyric parts when Albert King it's playing the guitar and must understand that they are two different schools of guitar and different ages too with different approaches.
