and do you think that the valves will clear with the stock rods and 1nzfe head ? because when you use the 1nzfxe on you get on atkinson cyle wich compress with the open valve ... maybe a little less for you because of the 2zz rods ..anyway I think that's why you lost a bit of top end . but you have a nice setup and I like the paint scheme

@glimk1 there wouldnt have been a problem with the valves being open. if thats the case it would have run rough and/or backfired. I never had that problem. I set the timing to factory specs for the 1NZ-FXE once I put it back together and had solid compression across the cylinders.

what does it give you like compression ratio??? does it run well?? im looking foward to do something like that i just didn't know about the 2zz rods.. and I was willing to use the 1nzfe head.. do you think it will work??

@glimk1 I used the 2ZZ rods for their .15" longer stroke. if my math is correct compression was right around 13.5/1 It ran great with premium fuel and a little N2O... I never dynoed it bit it did seem like I lost a little top end power, but gained some low end torque.

and wich cam are you using ?? 1nzfe or 1nzfxe ?? maybe JUN cams ^_^?
