I introduced myself to him at Pearson's airport in Toronto, a couple of weeks ago, on a Sunday. He was SO gracious. Asked me where I was from, etc... Where I was going, if I knew Ron Irwin(former MP), etc... I was delighted! He's not running for office anymore. He could have been aloof, BUT, he was SO NICE! The weird thing is, NO one else bothered him. But I couldn't let this chance pass me by!!!

@PhilipJFry72 Off the top of my head: balanced budgets, defecit reduction, strong federalist (defeated the sovereignist referendum and passed the Clarity Act), steered us clear of Iraq. He also personally manhandled a protester. :) And I said "in a while"; I never said he was William Lyon MacKenzie King or John A. MacDonald.
