@hockeyyismylife i bet you come may, if the caps do or dont barely make the playoffs, world championships roll around and you start to see ovechkin playing with his red machine linemates and that motivates him to get back into hockey shape and stop running around DC like a madman and play hockey like he used to, when he LOVED TO PLAY!

Ovechkin's got the right to be cocky because he makes everyone else in the NHL look like minor leaguers. Also, he actually always gives credit to his mates, even they don't deserve any. He gave props to Kolzig after this one who was the main reason they ended up having to play an OT. There's always gonna be one dufus who has to say something negative. I saw this game - amazing performance!
