Released on July 6th, 2009 ( UK )
The first international album of Benny Andersson Band (in Sweden known as Benny Anderssons Orkester (BAO) was released in Sweden on 26 June 2009 and in the UK and Europe at the beginning of July. The Swedish version of the album contains the Swedish language version of "Story of a Heart" as a bonus track.
Marie Helen Sjöholm (born 10 July 1970) is a Swedish singer, actress and musical theatre performer who lives in Gamla Enskede in Stockholm. She grew up in Sundsvall and started to sing in choirs at an early age, working, among others, with Swedish conductor Kjell Lönnå. By the end of the 1980s she toured with the group "Just For Fun".
Her big breakthrough occurred in 1995 when she created the title role in Benny Andersson and Björn Ulvaeus' Kristina från Duvemåla, which she played on and off for nearly four years (during the musical's entire run). Minneapolis Star and Tribune in its review of the concert version of the musical performed by the original cast in Minneapolis, Minnesota in 1996 described her as "extraordinary" (October 14, 1996, page 05B). In 1998, she played Hodel in Fiddler on the Roof, taking a break from Kristina. In 2000, she returned to Malmö Music Theatre to portray the role of Fantine in Les Misérables, and in 2002 she created the role of Florence in the reconceived Swedish production of Chess, opposite original London star Tommy Körberg as Anatoly. Having left this production upon closing in 2003, Sjöholm took part in Chinarevyn, a revue starring many well-known Swedish performers including Magnus Härenstam, Lasse Berghagen, Loa Falkman, Sissela Kyhle and herself.
" Story Of A Heart "
It must have been him,
Just a glimpse of a face in the crowd,
That's all it takes,
My heart is racing.
I stand in a trance,
As I stare at the back of a bus,
Knowing there's no use denying,
I can't stop thinking about us.
The story of a heart
The story all of it mine,
Then you took it from me,
Every glorious line.
I was safe and warm,
And now I'm out in the cold,
And I know I shouldn't have told my story.
Story of a heart,
I laid myself open wide,
Yet to read the pages,
Where the ink hadn't dried,
All emotions pent up inside, my story.
I try to resist,
But the images keep coming through,
So many years,
Still I'm defenceless.
The house by the lake,
His hands resting awhile on the oars,
Speaking with quiet conviction,
Carefully unlocking doors.
The story of a heart,
The story all of it mine,
Then you took it from me,
Every glorious line.
I was safe and warm,
And now I'm out in the cold,
And I know I shouldn't have told my story.
Story of a heart,
I laid myself open wide,
Yet to read the pages,
Where the ink hadn't dried,
All emotions pent up inside, my story.
Did he see me,
Or did I just imagine it all,
Putting a face on a stranger,
A face I find more and more hard to recall
The story of a heart,
I laid myself open wide,
Yet to read the pages,
Where the ink hadn't dried.
Swept away and lost in love,
What was I to do,
I just had to read it to you, my story.
The story of a heart,
The story all of it mine,
Then you took it from me,
Every glorious line.
I was safe and warm,
And now I'm out in the cold,
And I know I shouldn't have told my story.
Story of a heart,
I laid myself open wide,
Yet to read the pages,
Where the ink hadn't dried,
All emotions pent up inside, my story

She's a unbelievable singer and I myself found her music only just recently. This process of syncing these two songs took almost 2 hours to do but I was lucky and hit it right on. Thank you Nat for looking in.
Peace from Iowa....Jim~

Jim - It amazes me how you did the transition from the Swedish version to the English version at 2:15. It was so smooth it was like Helen never left the microphone - just switched languages. There is something about this song that just keeps pulling me back. Love it! —Tom
