Tapes on an off night in a smaller club in 1981, this is a more obscure cut of the Witness Tull Show, featuring Heavy Horses and Dark Ages. Pay close attention to the flourishes that made the band such a hit. Sorry about the video quality, it was filmed on a 1970's hand held camera ( 40 pounds!) For more information on Witness, visit the band's website at witness-rocks.com

the guy's voice isnt that similar to ian's really but it has a good tone and they definitely do tull justice, especially with dark ages and the harmonizing in heavy horses
it's nice to hear a great cover in the din of crap that's on youtube

I had seen Tull in concert in the late 70's but When Michael retired from Witness in 1982 I stopped listening or even following Tull. I dont think I ever really was a huge Tull fan, for me it became all about the Witness Tull show. Even today, I find myself watching these old Witness Tull videos with Michael D. often, but have never once watched an actual Jethro Tull video on you tube.
