Newroz in Madrid Part 1 - KRG Spain, March 2011

The Kurdistan Regional Government Representation Office in Spain and the Lor Joint Centre Music Group organized the first official Kurdish Newroz new year celebration in Madrid, March 2011.

This report was prepared by Kurdsat Satellite TV presenting the two concerts that were held in Madrid.

The first concert was at the Casa de Galicia cultural house and the second was held at the private residence of the Iraqi Ambassador to Spain.

The KRG Office in Spain was established in September 2010 and during its short existence has managed to organise a number of significant cultural, economic and political events to better the understanding, within Spain, of the Kurdistan Region of Iraq.
