Nice question! Finally you have 1 out of 10 that I do agree with :-P Im just jerking you chain and glad to see other young people into politics that are getting informed about our government rather than just voting for who they see on T.V. the most.

$600. Her grandmother is rich. I am disabled with a spinal cord injury, have had over 20 operations and am only recieving $272.
What I find amazing is that the government spends between $35,000-$50,000 making sure illegal immigrant felons are comfortable and I am only worthy of less than $4,000 per yr.
As an American citizen my life to our government is only worth $9.06 per day.

I hope I have social security by the time I retire. If the Republicans had their way, social security may be damaged and our money will find it's way to their private bank accounts.

I sure hope we have social security by 2041. CNN reported that if nothing drastic is done to strenghten social security, then by 2041, social security will be bankrupt. I hope they are wrong in this prediction.
