My friend was a subject for the "Human Test Program" and as he explained this to Suni. She mentioned how the heart shrinks in space during long durations. My friend said Suni's heart didn't shrink because it's too big. I totally agree from what I see from interviews! She seems very down to earth and such a sweetheart!  =)

I had sent her a copy of my book and my friend who works at NASA met Suni and told her about me. From what my friend told me, Suni said she'd "look for it." Later, my friend told me he asked Suni for a favor. The result was the Expedition 14 hat. I thought that was very nice! I couldn't thank him enough!

Hi Renee and Mary Jo...it's Shawna Lee...I tell ya, I find myself watching this video frequently. Always puts a smile on my face. I simply love how 'human' Suni was and wasn't afraid to say what she wanted to say. Also, her laugh seems to be very contagious! =) I hope to meet her someday besides Julie Payette.
