This guys are truly American heros. They both were awarded the Congressional Medal Of Honor for there actions on Oct.3rd,1993 RIP my friends

@thadf555 they took durant out of the helicopter, michael durant goes around america and gives speeches about the raid and the other co-pilot raymand frank he was alive when the helicopter hit the ground and he got out of the heli on his own will. but died when the militia came. oh and not to be mean or a dick but mike durant said that the 2 snipers only lasted about 15 minutes not 45 minutes like everyone says they did.

@1888gp there was no radio communication with the two delta operators. The only things heard by garrison or anyone else was when shughart shouted "Gary, oh fuck" after he was shot and when shughart was yelling out as he was shot and alot of static. Durant himself did not know that shughart was dead until Somalis scurried into the chopper.

1;47 tis a good death. Hope they were killed that painlessly in real life, too.

@MrThomasnz66 Yes, they were returned but in horrible condition. At least we got the bodies back though.
