A montage of photographs plus video of 34067 Tangmere arriving at Salisbury Railway Station on Saturday 19th March 2011. I apologise for silly comments over the actual video part, but unfortunately you can't choose who you share a platform with! hehe!

34067 Tangmere is a Southern Railways Battle of Britain Class engine. With a wheelbase of 4-6-2. She is an air-smoothed pacific engine. Built in September 1947, she was withdrawn from service in November 1963. Now fully preserved and main-line certified.

  • the train is on fire???????? well it is a steam train

very nice there although for the video i think the music could of been too much

  • @34002salisbury I agree about the music, but I made the video initially for my kids and I was trying to drown out the silly drunken comments of the women on the platform. They got me so angry, they went on to hassle the staff. I think they were removed in the end.

Thank you for your comment. x
