Test 1 - Magnetic Neodymium Ball / Sphere Motor & Aluminum Foil

This is my first lab video, sorry for the lighting problem. Watch it in (HD) much clearer. I was experimenting with this Neodymium ball magnet and noticed that there wasn't much videos on youtube showing the capabilities of it's shape as an advantage for a motor or a power generator. I'm very interested in introducing a new wave of power generating application using the circular motion of the magnet. Hopefully I should be able to induce a current through coils configured as a ring around the orbiting (N42 Grade) Neodymium and perhaps achieve a successful power generating result.

2 Double "AA" Batteries 1.5 Volts (each) so...

1.5 Volts x 2 = 3 Volts

I stacked up 2 old Double "AA" batteries (about 2.3-2.6 Volts together), with the negative "-" side touching the aluminum foil, and I then touched the "+" positive side with the test lead cable on the magnetic ball and noticed that as I touched it (not the foil), it spins around the test lead. I'm guessing the current flows through the lead through the magnet and then the foil creating a circuit, producing the motor effect....now my goal is to turn this into a power generator lol.
