@PaMairi Hi ther I´m interested in that history could you recomend another vid ?

He said "hundreds of little dots" not ships... and 19 or 20 ships would be sufficient to shell a single fort. Far-fetched or not, it's a moving story... GOD KEEP OUR FLAG FLYING!

Whenever I hear the words, "religious nut" I suspect someone who's looking for "social justice",,,,,, cover code word for socialism,,,,, now that's really a twisted absurdity!

Britain didn't start the war. The USA had invaded Upper Canada & burned the Parliament building in York. Washington was retaliation.
Ironicly Francis Key Howard grandson of the poems author was imprisoned in Fort Mchenry for 16 months for writing an editorial critical of President Lincoln.
The USA got spanked for being naughty.

march 2011 fort McHenry opened a new visitors center - go sometime and the true story not this fiction
This vid is so misleading that it is pathetic. Tell the real story of the Battle of Baltimore, the battle on North Point, the defenses that stretched from Fell's Point to the area around Belair Road and the Navy gunners who manned the artillery positions along that line, the fact that during the bombardment the fort flew their storm flag measuriing 17'x25' and only raised the flag that people see at the Smithsonian (measuring 42'x30') as the British were withdrawing. Tell the truth!

I guess I'm a "liar, liar pants on fire"! That's ok. If our country keeps nit picking what we stand for, we won't have a country OR flag to burn!

I looked at the previous comments, and discovered that you know you're wrong, and you don't care. What the fuck I have been to Fort McHenry. I have seen the flag. I have read the exhibits at the museums, and to claim a bit of creative license and present lies as factual is reprehensible. It's no better than changing any other bit of history, and you insult the memory of those who defended Fort McHenry by changing their story while knowing that you're wrong, and then attempting to justify it.
